Description

A project designed to separate the storm water from the old combined drainage system inside the Garda HQ Campus. It was prompted by increasingly aggressive flooding events in the car parking areas prior to the works being carried out. The catchment area measures 1.5 ha and SUDS measures including a large underground attenuation tank, detritus separators and oil separator were incorporated in the solution. The works were divided into phases to ensure minimum disruption was experienced inside the busy campus area.
