Description

Working in conjunction with a Design & Build Team led by Stewart Construction, Downes Associates were appointed as Civil & Structural Engineers on this circa 5,000m² modern office building within the IDA Business Park at Parkmore Co. Galway. The project comprises three storeys of modern office space constructed using precast concrete floors supported on a highly efficient skeletal steel frame. Features include slender external timber-clad columns and a hanging steel stairs within the atrium. The building will achieve the LEED Gold Standard.
